MileshelfTerms of Use
These terms apply to the Mileshelf app. By installing or using it you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
What the app is
Mileshelf organises links, podcast feeds, audio files and music servers that you add, and plays them on your phone and in your car. It does not provide any content of its own.
YouTube
Mileshelf uses YouTube API Services. By using the YouTube features of Mileshelf, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. YouTube videos are shown by YouTube's own official player, or opened in the YouTube app. Google's Privacy Policy applies to that content: www.google.com/policies/privacy.
Your content
- You are responsible for what you add to the app and for having the right to play it. Add only feeds, files, links and servers you are allowed to use.
- Your library stays on your phone. Keep your own copy with "Export library" if it matters to you; we cannot restore it for you.
- A library file you import from someone else can only add links, subscriptions and playlists. Only import files from people you trust, as you would with any link.
Mileshelf Pro
- Pro is a one-time purchase through Google Play that unlocks extra features in the app. It is not a subscription.
- Prices, payment, taxes and refunds are handled by Google Play under Google Play's refund policies. Pro stays with your Google account and is restored when you reinstall.
- Features included in Pro may change as the app develops. Features you already have through Pro will not be taken away and sold back to you.
Acceptable use
Do not use Mileshelf to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or get around the rules or technical limits of any service it connects to.
No warranty
Mileshelf is provided "as is". We work to keep it reliable, but we do not promise that it will be free of errors or always available, or that any third-party service it connects to (including YouTube, podcast hosts and your music server) will keep working with it. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using the app, including loss of data.
Safe driving
Follow the law and keep your attention on the road. Set up what you want to hear before you drive, and use the car's own controls or voice commands while driving.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above will change when we do, and continued use of the app means you accept the updated terms.
